The final review confirms that the `Gap` representation invariant is closed: the constructor is private, the newtype has no record field, and the exported `unGap` is an ordinary function. NaN, infinite, zero, and negative candidates cannot enter through `mkGap`, and the regression suite checks non-finite spectrum rejection.
